Q. Can I access the library after hours?

After hours access to the Library & Knowledge Centre (LKC) is available to:

• Staff with a Cairns & Hinterland HHS swipe access proxy cards
• JCU 4th, 5th & 6th Year medical students

Students on clinical placements and visiting staff on short-term, temporary placements (eg overseas or interstate, etc) are not eligible for after hours access.

Library registration is a pre-requisite for AH access. You can register using online form, link below.

AH applications are approved by the Manager, Library & Knowledge Services, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions (link provided below).

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email from the library. Please allow at least 3-5 working days for processing of your application.
