Q. How do I book the Library Study Rooms, and where are they?

The rooms are available only during LKC opening hours, 08:30 - 16:30 weekdays (excluding public holidays). They seat up to 4 people.

The Library Study Rooms are located within the LKC at Cairns Hospital, A Block Level 2, The Esplanade, Cairns.

If you are booking a room on behalf of outside groups, please advise LKC staff via email. Promotional material should state LIBRARY STUDY ROOM for venue information and provide directions.

If you want to use these rooms to conduct interviews, the LKC staff are unable to be involved in the interview process in any way. Please arrange to have another staff member meet and greet applicants and manage pre-interview questions.

NOTE:

1. If you do not show up for your room booking, it will be cancelled after 30 mins
2. Check bookings online or on the booking tablet.
   • If you have not booked the room, you will be asked to leave
   • We will move your stuff if you leave it unattended and someone has a booking
3. Do not move furniture and chairs - this is an OHS issue.
4. Keep the space clean and remove your rubbish - otherwise we may ban food and drink
