The LKC offers a book swap that is available for use by patients, staff, families and community members.
The book swap was implemented to enhance the patient experience at Cairns Hospital. It contains recreational reading items for people of different ages, and includes books, magazines and activity books. Items available vary depending on donations.
The book swap is located outside the library at Cairns Hospital, A Block, Level 2.
Books for donation are welcome, and should be given to library staff.
CHHHS staff are encouraged to inform patients and their families about this service.
