If you regularly use purchased tests for client or patient assessment, you are able to photocopy these tests. This includes creating scanned, digital copies which are then saved on non-public hard drives. There is no need to obtain any prior permissions.

The rules apply to Australian State Government departments and Australian (Commonwealth) Government departments. This provision arises from the Copyright Act 1968 (Commonwealth).

Queensland Health pays a significant copyright fee for the right to copy materials for Government purposes.
