No. Patients are not able to access LKC services; except in urgent, exceptional circumstances, on a case by case basis. For example, urgent photocopying of documents (charges apply), etc.

Computer access is not available to patients or their family members. The LKC cannot provide generic computer logins.

The Library does not hold information that is suitable for patients. We hold information that supports clinicians and health service staff for professional purposes.

Patients requesting information from the LKC will be directed to their treating health practitioner or their local public library.

Free online health information resources, suitable for patients and consumers, can also be found on our website Public Resources page (see link below).
