Q. Does the library have WiFi (wireless internet) access?

Yes. Cairns Hospital Library & Knowledge Centre (LKC) provides secure WiFi or wireless internet access.

LKC WiFi access is only available within LKC on Level 2 A Block.

Staff and JCU students based at Cairns Hospital can request access. Ask LKC staff for password details. The password will change from time to time; so if WiFi isn't connecting, ask for the new password.

Conditions apply as per the Queensland Health use of ICT resources policy.

Patients and members of the public are not entitled to access LKC WiFi.

Guest WiFi access is now available across the Cairns Hospital site.
