The Library & Knowledge Centre (LKC) does not purchase books or resources on behalf of individuals for personal use. The LKC has never purchased items for individuals.

From 1 July 2018, the LKC ceased purchasing books and materials on behalf of CHHHS health units.

The LKC can assist CHHHS health units by:

  • providing advice about reliable, evidence based texts and resources to purchase
  • providing advice regarding best suppliers or publishers (value for money, reputable)

See the attached guide to purchasing for health units and links to related CHHHS procedures.

CHHHS staff should contact Cairns_Purchasing@health.qld.gov.au if they don't hold a corporate credit card and need help with S/4HANA.

TCHHS staff should contact their local business manager or purchasing officer for assistance. We ceased purchasing for TCHHS in 2017.
