August 2023: The update from EndNote X9 to EndNote 21 is currently rolling out across Queensland Health. The new version will replace any existing installations, or be available to install via the QH Software Centre.

EndNote 21 is available for Queensland Health staff as a free copy for personal use (ie your personal laptop or home computer). To get a copy:

  1. Contact LKC for the passkey (for installation)
  2. Go to EndNote 21 installation page on Thomson Reuters (link below)
  3. Select your preferred download installer option (Windows or Mac)
  4. Once the files have been downloaded onto your laptop, follow the prompts on your computer
  5. Ensure you agree to terms of use
  6. Enter the passkey when EndNote screen prompts you

Note, depending on your internet speeds, the download may take a few minutes.

Without the passkey, you will only be able to have a copy of EndNote 21 for a free trial period.
